Award-winning card acceptance provider for charities, PayaCharity showcased the benefits of its contactless donation boxes at this year’s Institute of Fundraising East Anglia Conference.
Held at Wherstead Park, Suffolk, this year’s conference theme focused on ‘Fundraising in Challenging Times’ with delegates attending plenaries and workshops throughout the day. Delegates visiting the PayaCharity stand were able to see first hand the contactless donation box technology available and how to roll out a successful deployment. Each step of the process from application for a merchant account, set-up, fulfilment and support of the donation devices is taken care of by PayaCharity.
Attending the conference Bill Thomson, PayaCharity CEO, commented: ‘We’re delighted to be invited to this great event. With the UK fast becoming a cashless society, contactless donations presents charities with a great opportunity to attract higher value and increased donations, as well as tracking campaigns in real-time. We’ve worked hard to simplify the complex supply chain faced by charities when looking to incorporate contactless donations as part of their fundraising, and have invested in the latest hardware and gateway technology to support the service. ’
PayaCharity has seen successful deployment of contactless donation boxes in museums, animal sanctuaries, medical charities, religious organisations, zoos and more. Demonstrating that this simple technology can be adopted by charities of all shapes and sizes.
